The Device

The Otricath™ (Figure 1 Representation) is a 3-part catheter that uses a novel delivery strategy to deliver therapeutic treatment in a closed loop, reducing systemic washjthe circulation of toxic agents (i.e. chemotherapy) throughout the body.

(Figure 1)

Device Components:

1.  The infusion catheter pushes therapeutic agent into the body.

2.  The central catheter monitors pressure and keeps the vein open.

3.  The suction catheter aspirates residual drug out of the body.

How Otricath Works

A. Target and Deliver

  • Balloon occlusion within the target vessel creates  a temporary  'closed' treatment compartment.

  • Therapy is administered directly into the isolated treatment region.

B. Recover

  • Remaining therapy is actively recovered before entering systemic circulation.
